Self Introduction
I am in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education PGCE, specializing in economics education, and a TEFL Certificate…and am busy completing my completing my second undergraduate degree in Education. I am a native English speaker from South Africa, with a neutral accent.
I have three years teaching experience in total, across three countries, all to nonnative speakers of English. My last position was in China, where I taught across a range of ages for two years fulltime. I had to leave China earlier during the year and was unable to return due to Covid, but, now, am eager to return to classrooms in order to inspire our future leaders.
I believe I am a creative and dedicated educator, who is uncompromising in my attentiveness to students. I strive to uphold professionalism in all regards, and always consider my students’ interests above all else.
Ideally, I am looking for a role in Asia at a school that is determined to educate their students in a studentcentered and involved manner and that truly cares for their students. I can negotiate a salary and do not need a high income, but I will need legal visa/permits and accommodation.
