Self Introduction
Dear Hiring Committee,
I am writing today about an English teaching job. I have been teaching English online for four and one half years. Prior to that I was a public school teacher in America for years. I specialized in teaching English to students from foreign countries. I have experience working with children age from over countries.
I addition to teaching, I have experience learning language. I lived in Italy as a cultural exchange student in high school and during university. I learned Italian in both formal and informal settings. I also studied French in school and have since learned Spanish. I have dabbled with other languages as well, such as Russian, Chinese, and
Turkish. Although I do not claim to speak these languages, studying them has given me a wide exposure to the workings of language and grammar.
I am interested in either an inperson position in or near Europe or an online position. I know the importance of strong and stable internet connections. I maintain fast Internet in my homes and always have a backup source. I have both a laptop and an iPad that I can teach from.
